Camera	Problem	Cure
Pentax K 1000	blank strip on left side of picture, or mirror may be hanging up	1. If using flash, make sure shutter speed is set at 60 or lower. 2. Like all slr cameras 5 or more years old, the shutter bearings may be dry and in need of lubrication. Our overhaul always includes this.
Pentax ME Super	dark strip on bottom of picture	1. If using flash, make sure shutter speed is set at 125 or lower. 2. Shutter blades may have oil on them. 3. Bumpers in shutter may be breaking down causing shutter blades to gum up.
Pentax ME Super	Mirror will not latch correctly	Rubber bumper in mirror cage breaking down and should be replaced.
